Masani is known for its outstanding events, excellent food by Richard Masani, and personalized service, always.  Indulge, showcase, impress, celebrate, present or simply party in one of Masani’s private dining rooms in Melbourne.
Masani comprises of two levels with the Grand Dining Room on the ground level, servicing the a la carte restaurant, and the private upstairs area, the 1889 Carlton Club Rooms servicing private and corporate events.

  • Cocktail Bar – up to 35 guests seated and 60 guests standing, facilities include private stair access, fully serviced bar, bathrooms, and lounge area.
  • 1889 Carlton Club - comprises of the entire upstairs dining space, to hold 80 guests seated and 150 standing. Facilities include private stair access, fully serviced bar, bathrooms and lounge area.
  • Grand Dining Room – up to 100 guests seated and 200 guests standing, facilities include the restaurant bar & cellar, bathrooms and outdoor terrace.

Event styles which Masani offers include, set menu, choice menu, degustation menu, banquet, cocktail & grazing, conference, buffet, catering and on site serviced catering. Dishes across all event styles are a collection from the seasonal a la carte menu, in addition to Richard’s signature dishes and classic dishes. Please do not hesitate to ask as there is always plenty of choice and we are more than happy to accommodate special requests.

All our events in Melbourne are personalized and designed around individual needs, requests and budget. Masani’s event services include, entertainment, audio & visual equipment, theming, decorations, flowers, MC personnel, and secretarial. Secretarial services include printing, invitations, place cards, table & guest plans and settings, celebratory cakes, cake service, gifts, hampers, bonbonieri and requests. Wireless internet connection, power points and conference setup are offered throughout. Masani is available in Melbourne for events year round, 7 days a week.
